La Palme d’or or The Golden Palm, passionate for all the directors, is awarded each year for the best film at the Cannes Film Festival. in 1998 it was redesigned by Caroline Scheufele, since then it has been the brilliant symbol that unites Maison Chopard with the most glamorous film festivals.

La Palme d’Or is carefully carried out each year in its workshops of high quality gold jewelry with Fairmined certification.
The workshops of the Maison will carry out the trophies that will be awarded during the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival, making Chopard the artisan of all emotions.

Since 2014, La Palme d’or has been crafted with Fairmined-certified ethical 18-carat yellow gold, reflecting the responsible approach the Maison has undertaken with its Journey to Sustainable Luxury.

CHOPARD is affirming its ecological responsibility and at the same time the determination to work in the name of civic luxury, which mainly seeks respect for the human being in the environment.

As of July 2018 CHOPARD will exclusively use ethical gold in its line of jewelery and watches, reaffirming its commitment to responsible luxury.
