Stella McCartney launches its new fragrance, POP Bluebell, a perfume with a deeper purpose: embracing sustainability, individuality, and a new kind of beauty. POP Bluebell takes POP qualities, uniqueness, authenticity and adventure, into an even more assertive and self-assured territory. The perfume’s metallic purple talks about dusk, twilight, the excitement of the day recalled in tranquility. The POP Bluebell woman is thoughtful, dauntless, a free spirit allowing her imagination to roam, young in years, yet a wise soul.

True and lasting friendships are how we grow, creating a deeper sense of intimacy, generosity and courage. The bluebell reflects this perfectly. It’s extremely beautiful, however its principal quality is strength. It gives itself the firmest foundations so that it’s ready to bloom.”   -Stella McCartney

English bluebell brings a new balance, depth and personality. POP Bluebell tempers the bright, delicate, and dewy bloom of the bluebell with a deep and intriguingly sensual sandalwood base. Feminine without being fragile, it makes a statement without ever having to shout. On the other hand, the English bluebell is as beautiful as it is fascinating, Its inner strength is all. In spring, it expresses its vibrancy and individuality. Like the bluebell, the POP woman is grounded, deeply-rooted, at one with and owning her environment.

The shade of POP Bluebell is purple. The cap and bottle are combined into a subversive arrangement of minimalist forms. The cap is a tribute to the medallion on Stella’s iconic Falabella bag, it appears in striking metallic mauve. POP Bluebell campaign’s was shot with Glen Luchford, the legendary photographer, in the Californian desert with four creative muses, strong on their own, but even stronger together: musician Grimes, aka Claire Boucher, actress and campaigner Amandla Stenberg, animal activist Kenya Kinski Jones, and performing artist Lola Leon.

As human beings, we’re always changing, and POP is evolving with its wearers. I really love these girls – their spirit, their independence – and wanted to follow them on the next stage of their adventures. In POP Bluebell they’ve lived life and learnt, and become only more beautiful in the process.”   -Stella McCartney
