For this winter 2017 season, Lucas Ossendrijver sets the tone with a scarf that has the evocative word “Nothing” written all across it. With no collaboration, no effect of decoration but cuts, constructions and proportions: this season the essence of design and clothing comes first and foremost.

“Nothing” slips in every accessory, printed on a wool scarf or hat, printed on a cotton t-shirt or on a technical fabric backpack. It is a pleasant unexpected detail. A second manifesto, “Fantastic Utopia”, cleverly adornes the silhouettes of the collection and dresses the new sneakers, hats, scarves, t-shirts and even jackets.

Both concepts are echoed in this collection as “anti-branding”. Each piece was studied to be more rooted and real. Ossendrijver thought his collection was inspired by the most basic pieces of the men’s wardrobe and subtly sublimated without ever making them valuable. Here the luxury comes not from ornament but from simplicity.
