Charlotte Olympia, the luxury shoes and accessories brand, launches a capsule luggage collection with Globe-Trotter, in conjunction with ‘Wish You Were Here’ a beautiful new collection of travel-themed shoes, and brings glamour back into travel accessories. Packing is always so very much easier when you have good cases to put everything in.
“I love to travel, whether that’s to my home away from home, Rio de Janeiro or to a far-flung tropical destination, I am an intrepid explorer. For me, beautiful luggage is synonymous with the golden era of travel; the sophisticated voyage to an exotic destination should be a journey of refinement and elegance” says Olympia Dellal, Founder and Creative Director Charlotte.
The signature charisma and femininity of Charlotte Olympia combine for leopard-print-covered cases, a neat and compact vanity case with bespoke mirror panel; a 30” and a 20” trolley case, all of which come lined with web jacquard interiors. Also, eight compartments inside the shoe case will accommodate platforms, flats and boots. To make sure dressing up is just as special in transit as it is at home, dust bags and shoe trees complete the offering.
“Working alongside Charlotte Olympia has been a dream and so much fun. I particularly love the Shoe Case and it has been so exciting to recreate a classic design from our archive for the more contemporary traveller.” says Charlotte Seddon, Senior designer, Globe-Trotter.
A burgundy ‘Bon Voyage’ embroidered leather passport design pouch adds the final flourish to your refined hand-carry is also part of the travel-themed ‘Wish You Were Here’ shoe collection. Among the thirteen vibrant designs, there are beautiful slipper flats in needlepoint embroidery takes its inspiration from a different exotic destination, with English roses, Chinese dragons and a Matrioska doll.
