For John Nollet’s first collaboration with ATELIER SWAROVSKI, the creator and Hair Stylist drew his inspiration from the celestial universe. Captivated by the twinkling of stars, he has sought, by creating these head jewelry, to reproduce the troubling depth of a night sky dotted with a thousand gleams. The collection “A Star is Born” also references the many actresses the hairdresser beutified for their red carpet appearances.
Nollet partnered up with selected prestigious Parisian haute-couture workshops: the Maison Lemarié, specialized in the art of feathers, and Maison Lesage, artisan embroiderer. Appearing all in transparency, flashes of light seem to float or only be posed as dust of stars on the hair. Headbands, barrettes and pins were adorned with Swarovski crystals to create a silhouette with a touch of elegance in a single gesture. The neck jewel, iconic model of John Nollet’s accessories has also been reinterpreted in this collection. Just slip it in the hair to bring a glamorous spirit to an evening look.
