From 25 May to 28 July, Cartier in Motion will be present at the Design Museum in London. Curated by architect Norman Foster, and co-curated by Deyan Sudjic, this exhibition explores the creativity of Cartier watchmaking from a design perspective. Recently a Cartier Santos wristwatch and a Tank wristwatch were acquired for the Design Museum collection and included in its permanent exhibition Designer Maker User at its new home in Kensington High Street. The 170 exhibits are primarily pieces from the Cartier Collection as well as loans from the Collection of the Monaco Princely Palace Collection, the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace at Le Bourget airport and the Rockefeller Center.
