Roberto Cavalli celebrates female sensuality with its Spring / Summer 2018 advertising campaign, the first to be developed under the creative direction of Paul Surridge
The protagonist of the campaign is the Dutch model Birgit Kos who was photographed by Zoe Ghertner. The backdrop? Natural elements in their most raw expression, dry grass, rocks and wood, create a captivating contrast with the sharpness and urban elegance of the Spring / Summer 2018 collection by Roberto Cavalli.
The use of light at the hands of Ghertner highlights the beauty of the female silhouette even more, which is already highlighted by the garments of the collection. Converting this set into a maximizing expression of the beauty of women.
“For my first advertising campaign for the brand, I wanted to work with a totally female team, which could better interpret the fiercely independent attitude of Roberto Cavalli’s wife,” said Paul Surridge. “We opted for a game of exteriors and natural light to capture an unfiltered, spontaneous and unpredictable moment infused with powerful energy.”
