Inside the Grand Palais, amid rocks and a waterfall decoration, evoking the Gorges du Verdon, Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel’s SS18 Ready-To-Wear.

An iridescent palette with rainbow colors, shiny silver and gold, echoes the reflexion from the sun and moon on the water’s surface. Prints in aquamarine, exuberant greens, delicate pinks and vibrant tones impregnate this collection with a nature vibe.

The tumbling broad shoulders gives a structured line to these ethereal silhouettes. Tweed Lurex, soft silk, lace chiffon and embroided water drops reminds how light works on the water surface. The contrast among textures and lengths withdraw lightness.
