CHANEL ephemeral boutique in Courchevel, France

Every winter for the past seven years, la maison CHANEL opens its ephemeral boutique in the elegant Savoyard ski resort of Courchevel.
For few months the firm establishes residence in a beautiful 160m2 space spread over two levels, and with a décor inspired by Korea which echoes the silhouettes and accessories of the 2015/16 Cruise collection shown in Seoul last May.

The shades of pink and celadon green which decorate the boutique unfold over a polished, geometric architecture orchestrating an encounter between raw and refined materials such as concrete and metal, tulle and lacquered wood.
Conceived as a single entity, the ground floor is structured with transparent celadon green screens placed randomly against the walls.
