Gucci recently announced that the British musician Florence Welch, singer of the group Florence + The Machine, is the new ambassador for its collections of watches and jewelry. Today, the House gave a press conference to reveal more about this new partnership at a private event at Somerset House in London, where the latest news were also presented.
The choice of Florence Welch as an ambassador of the brand was a natural because his personal style well represents the eccentric spirit of Gucci as envisaged by its creative director Alessandro Michele. Indeed, these two old friends have always admired their respective creative work.

“When I met Alessandro, our passion for jewelery immediately brought us together,” says Florence Welch. “I find it really magic is being created at Gucci and I am very happy to participate.”
Florence wore the watch G-Timeless automatic, a model that stands out for its eclectic assortment of decorative motifs such as bees, a heart and stars.
Florence was interviewed by journalist, editor and author Derek Blasberg, in the presence of an invited audience.
Derek Blasberg also wore a G-Timeless watch: quartz model with a case in polished and brushed stainless steel, coordinated bracelet and a stunning black dial adorned with a rhinestone design in 3D.
