Gucci announce the beginning of a collaboration with the talented British artist known as Unskilled Worker, popular by a series of paintings with imperfect fashion creatures.

The relationship between them dates back to 2015, when creative director Alessandro Michele discovered his work on Instagram and invited the artist to participate in his exhibition entitled No Longer / Not Yet inaugurated in October 2015 at the Minsheng Art Museum in Shanghai.

This collaboration takes the form of an exclusive capsule collection of 40 ready-to-wear pieces and accessories featuring the works of Unskilled Worker. The images used combine portraits and floral motifs typical of the naive and figurative style that became the artist’s signature. Playful and witty, these works complete the eclectic contemporary Romanticism of the House to perfection.

The pieces from the collaboration will be sold online from 11 October and each item will be delivered in a custom packaging also decorated with drawings of the artist.
