GUCCI will present its Spring / Summer 2019 collection in Paris on
September 24 as part of a tribute to France. The news was officially announced at the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and the Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion.
GUCCI collaborates with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana to organize a special event at Gucci Hub on Wednesday, September 19 of this year. Under the direction of Alessandro Michele, Gucci started a creative tribute to France since the 2018 pre-fall advertising campaign inspired by the student demonstrations of May 68 in Paris, a historic movement that continues to inspire new generations.

GUCCI is a global brand that has deep and vibrant Italian roots, but also a French visionary shareholder: Kering,” says Marco Bizzarri, CEO of GUCCI.

When Alessandro made me part of his desire to present the new collection in Paris to continue the French-inspired narrative, he discovered that it was the best way to continue our creative tribute to France. Monday, September 24, a day of transition between the Fashion Weeks of Milan and Paris, so as not to interrupt the schedule of presentations. We will return to Milan in February 2019. We look forward to Gucci next February for the opening of the Milan Fashion Week” says Carlo Capasa.
