The Interpretation Project 001 is the first of a special series projects designed by Jil Sander, Lucie and Luke Meier’s creative directors, in which the brand presents exclusive collaborations with a variety of outstanding artists and photographers.

Last September, JIL SANDER teamed up with MARIO SORRENTI to capture the spirit of the Spring / Summer 18 collection with a digital campaign for the first edition of the project. The images, taken from the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mallorca, Spain, reveal the brand new energy of the house seen through the Sorrenti lens.

The project consists in a selection of photos by Mario Sorrenti on 10 unisex t-shirts that will be available in several sizes exclusively at Colette from December 4, Dover Street Market from December 7, Ssense.com from December 17, and on the online store of Jil Sander and in some stores around the world from January 8th.
