The Palladium is one of Hollywood’s oldest and most iconic concert and musical venues. Opening in 1940, the world’s most famous stars including Frank Sinatra, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Prince have all performed within its famous walls. Now, Saint Laurent is set to make history there too with its Fall ’16 Menswear and Part 1 Womenswear show on February 10, 2016. The news comes just hours after Hedi Slimane cancelled the Men’s Paris show, which was due to take place on January 24, 2016, at 11pm.
Aptly titled Saint Laurent at the Palladium, the L.A. show will be revealed on the same week as the 2016 Grammy Awards and pays tribute to the love for the Los Angeles music scene. This will mark Hedi Slimane’s second project based in L.A. and the 10th year anniversary of the “Hedi Slimane Diary”, which is a photography project documenting emerging music over the last decade.
The Saint Laurent Part 2 Women’s show will still take place on March 7, 2016 in the brand’s hometown of Paris.
