Creative Directors Erica Pelosini and Louis Leeman are thrilled to announce the launch of their first women’s collection. Just a few weeks after the launch of their last Men’s FW17 collection.

The development of the first women’s collection represents a milestone step for the brand and crucial expansion for its aesthetic.

Similarly to the men’s collection. Leeman and Pelosini were inspired by history, traditions and culture, where East meets West, from timeless cities like Constantinopoli and Tiro to Antiochia…

The finest quilted leather has been used to create unique boots resembling ancient pillows, while sophisticated embroideries pay tribute to ancient and timeless handicraft traditions of the Byzantine Empire. The combination of fine suede and tulle gives the sandals a special lightness similar to the ancient dresses worn by the ladies of the imperial court.

Precious pearls are hand-applied on sandals, décollté and loafers like on the imperial jewels. Shiny velvet is used in different colours to create chic and elegant pieces perfectly matching with the opulence and regal atmosphere of the ancient imperial ceremonies.

‘Miss Leeman’ was launched with a intimate presentation a Mark’s Club during London Fashion Week.
