A calling for fashion took Emiliano from engineering to runways, glamour and success. “I have always looked for harmony, beauty, sensitivity and sensuality in the people and things I encounter.” he explains, it seems ages ago since his first collection, an ode to his youth. Now as the Creative Director for ‘La Perla’ he confessed to have a motto this year, to always have fun in everything and anything he does.
Paris Social Diary: How are you this week?
Emiliano Rinaldi: Actually this week is going great! I just closed the men’s sale Campaign which went really well and am now taking some relax skiing time with my family before finishing up last touches of my Woman’s.
Paris Social Diary: How would you describe the EMILIANO RINALDI Man and Women for 2017 and 2018?
Emiliano Rinaldi: My collections always seem to mirror my state of mind and personality… always elegant, sofisticated with a modern touch, a real dance of intermixing men’s and women’s… sensuality is within both in the end.
Paris Social Diary: What is going on in the creative scene in Milan?
Emiliano Rinaldi: Not really sure, it seems to be regaining momentum lost in the past years. But I believe it could still be much stronger!
Paris Social Diary: Favorite contemporary italian artist? and Latin American artist?

Emiliano Rinaldi: Well of course I’ve been working on EMiLiANO RiNALDi women’s, as well as creative consulting for other lingerie and swimwear brands… in addition to something still Top Secret!
