Have you ever pictured flowers in metallic thread-work?

Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo feature metallic thread-work at their latest runway. They took the inspiration from peonies, tulips and roses turning this concept around showing crystal dewdrops on silk thread-work, petal appliqué, ribbon embroidery that have an abstract form of flowers.
The transparency of gowns and capes cause a huge impact with a touch of romanticism and sweetness, a slightly air of nuptials that we can relate to the headpieces and through the hues of blue in the dresses.

The collection reflects sensuality on the cut out shoulders and evokes the Fifties through the hourglass silhouettes, peplums and corseted bustier. Spotted on the front row Uma Thurman and Rita Ora at the couture show on Monday night.
