Held by The Daily Front Row, this year’s Fashion Los Angeles Awards at the Sunset Tower Hotel were like no other. The purpose of this lavish event is to celebrate contributors to Hollywood style, so as you can imagine, the best of the industry (as well as celebrities) attended it.
It was not only the perfect occasion to honour these hard working individuals, but also for the rest who came to support, to show their best look at the red carpet.
Just as any awards event, the night had a lot of important highlights that we just can’t keep it to ourselves. So we will spill a few for you.
Let’s start with Bella Hadid, who beat her big sister Gigi for the Model of the Year Award. This was not much of a surprise for us, as we have seen her grow so much talentedly this past year. The very chic Carine Roitfeld also took home the award of Magazine of the Year for her work in CR Fashion Book. Lady Gaga, who also won Editor of the Year, presented the award for Best Designer Debut to Brandon Maxwell. The last award, went to the king of the industry, Karl Lagerfeld, who won the Fashion Icon Award.
