MARNI continues its ongoing dialogue with the world of art choosing to collaborate with American artist Frank Navin for Women’s Prefall 2018 and Men’s Fall/Winter 2018 collections.
His naive hand, that constitutes his acknowledged trademark, adds a fun and playful touch to some of the key items and looks of the collection. The prints exclusively developed for Marni by the Chicago-based artist depict an imaginary world behind things inhabited by unreal animals, monkeys, flowers, vintage Cracker Jack toys, everyday objects and work tools.
His creativity is not only expressed on the ready-to-wear pieces, but also on the accessories, the Marni Jewelry line features a series of necklaces and bracelets decorated with colorful charms that find their origins in his visionary talented mind.
The garments and accessories featuring the collaboration with Frank Navin will be available in all MARNI boutiques and on Marni.com starting from June 2018.
