Lensed by Mario Sorrenti and starring models Maartje Verhoef and Jordan Barrett, the new portfolio offers a fresh and focused point of view, highlighting the raw yet refined energy of the Spring 2017 collection.

Art director Giovanni Bianco kept the set simple but evocative, opting for saturated background colors and a single sofa covered in plastic while stylist Carine Roitfeld created a minimalistic but sleek counterpoint to the season’s shoes. A multiple-frame layout delivers a strong, graphic element. The overall effect? A modern, racy yet polished statement for the new season.

Featured from the women’s collection are five new styles, including the “Angie”, a sparkling cage sandal, the “Carrie Crystal”, an elegant open-toe heel designed with a sweeping fringe of crystals around the ankle, the “Dionne”, a satin sandal with a cut-out heel that reveals a hidden layer of crystals as well as the “Clover” satin loafer with baguette accessory and the “Gemma”, a multiform crystal-embellished slip-on sneaker.

Featured from the men’s collection are three new models, including the “William”, a sleek satin loafer with raw edges and crystal detailing, the “Tejay”, an innovative all-black buckle and zip sneaker with a flatform sole, and the “Cooper”, a leather side-zip loafer with a treaded rubber sole.

“My collections always have an element of the raw, sexy but urban mixed with the refined and the sophisticated” says designer Giuseppe Zanotti. “It’s this balance that makes them very GZ.
