For this Valentine’s Day, and any other day for that matter, here are the most deliciously romantic desserts in Paris because nothing says romance like chocolate and cakes under the bright lights of the city, or in front of your TV.

Strawberry and Mascarpone Éclair at L’éclair de Genie

Though the Éclair is not used to having the spotlight on the menu of our favorite restaurants and cafés, this romantic wild strawberry perfection at boutique café L’éclair de Genie has to be one of the most deliciously underrated treats on this list. Stop by for a nice gouter or simply take some home to surprise your date.

Pistachio Gelato at GROM

With so many different ice cream flavors nowadays it’s hard to find one that will truly blow your mind. GROM’s Pistachio flavored gelato does more than enchant: it revolutionizes, baffles, enamors. You can thank me later.

The Carrot Cake at Rose Bakery

This fluffy, cinnamony goodness will mesmerize any couple that makes it to this beautifully quaint café in the 9th neighborhood of Paris. Share it with some marvelous ginger green tea and enjoy one of Paris’s sweetest secrets.

Caramel Mango Pain Perdu at môm

Perhaps no other treat on this list screams EAT ME like môm’s mouth-watering pain perdu with its splash of caramel and fresh mango, subtly combining the temperatures of sea salt caramel ice cream and a hot, moist cake that’ll have you convincing your date for a second round.

Hot chocolate and the Mont Blanc at Angelina

A ravishing combination of flavor, creaminess, and intensity, it’s no wonder why the hot chocolate has caused Angelina to be so famously celebrated as the crème de la crème of Paris tearooms. A subtler menu item however is the Mont Blanc, a Chantilly-based pastry that will surprise whomever gets a taste with its delicate notes of chestnuts and soft, cool cream.

Citron Cheesecake at Berko

Nothing says let’s share like a good old cheesecake but in the case of Berko’s fantastic dessert there’s nothing old about it. The intimate dessert shop in Le Marais offers many different flavors but the merengue citron takes the cake as one of the best desserts in all of Paris.
