Carine Roitfeld, fashion visionary and founder of CR Fashion Book and CR Studio announces her first official CR Runway fashion show and joins forces with Andrea Panconesi CEO of LuisaViaRoma to celebrate LuisaViaRoma’s 90th anniversary, scheduled to take place in Florence on June 13, 2019.
Honoring the decade defined by effortless glamour and versatile sexiness, the show will be casted by acclaimed Casting Director, Piergiorgio Del Moro, uniting iconic models from the turn of the century to recreate some of fashion’s most historical runway looks reinterpreted through today’s latest collections. The soundtrack will be curated by industry-leading Sound Director, Michel Gaubert, with a closing performance by award-winning artist Lenny Kravitz, and additional surprise music performances to-be-announced. Produced by Andy Boose and Stefan Santoni of ISG, this one-of-a-kind event – to be attended by international guests within the entertainment, art and fashion industries – will include a VIP Cocktail hour, CR Runway’s inaugural fashion show and special performances, followed by a private dinner.
Florence will be taken over by the CR Runway show in celebration of LuisaViaRoma’s 90th milestone, as screens will also livestream to celebrate across the city. A book honoring the anniversary of LuisaViaRoma displaying the rich history and images from the famous store front windows in Via Roma will also be released.
