This past November 6th, ROBERTO CAVALLI celebrated the opening of their first flagship store in Sanlitun, Beijing. This moment means a great milestone for the brand’s China retail network expansion. The opening has been celebrated in the presence of Chinese superstars Gong Li and Jing Boran together with the Creative Director Paul Surridge, CEO Gian Giacomo Ferraris and General Manager Luigi Cantone performed the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony. Chinese top-blogger broadcasted live on Weibo about the opening and interviewed the guests attending. The opening party was hosted for members of the Chinese press and VIP clients and was followed by two exclusive trunk shows with the new Spring Summer Collection for top clients and celebrity stylists the next day.

The store is located in the Chaoyang District, one of the most elegant and popular destinations for shopping and entertainment in Beijing, the boutique spans 340 square meters and offers Roberto Cavalli womenswear and menswear, the Sport, and Eyewear collections as well as an assortment of the brands fragrances, watches, fashion jewelries, and Home collection.

The boutique floor is made of labradorite (a natural grey stone) with a satin finish, the walls are covered in marmorino white and the displays have mirrors. Clients walk on top of silk and viscose carpets in pink, grey, green and black colors; strategically placed to emphasize specific products, creating a unique atmosphere with blue and red velvet sofas.

Roberto Cavalli brand also opened a new flagship store on the 5th November in Shin Kong Place, Beijing. Following the Sanlitun store concept it’s decorated in a light color palette and the natural stone decoration over 100 square meters, it offers the full range of the Roberto Cavalli womens first line products. This third direct operated China store is part of a strategic retail roll out with further six stores to open in China in the next 12 months.
