Paris Social Diary: Tell us about your most memorable Paris experience?
Kenya Kinski-Jones: I’ll never forget when it started snowing. That was like something out of a dream. It doesn’t get more romantic than snow in Paris.

PSD: You live in LA – how does Paris compare as a city?
KKJ: They couldn’t be more different. Paris is different from LA in regards to its historical architecture. I think that’s what gives Paris it’s charm and beauty. There’s such a rich sense of culture embedded in the city and I really, really love that.

KKJ:  Working on the Pop campaign was a dream come true. I’ve looked up to Stella for so long and everything that she has fought for and stood for. Working with Stella, Glen, Melina, and the girls was an absolute honor. They’re all incredibly talented. I had the best time shooting with them.

PSD: POP is about friendship, authenticity and adventure. What’s been your biggest adventure so far?
KKJ: I really feel like I’m at the beginning of a new adventure at this point in my life. Having recently finished college, I feel like I can finally begin a new chapter that I’ve been anticipating for so long. There’s a newfound freedom and independence. It’s exciting to turn to a new page and know that there is more to learn and more to experience in a different way than before.

PSD: What do you look for in a fragrance?
KKJ:  Individuality. Scent is an extension of your style; it becomes your signature. So, individuality in a fragrance is something I really look for and I love the way Pop does that by combining feminine and masculine notes.

PSD: Animal welfare is at the core of our brand’s ethics. You are also a passionate animal activist – why is protecting animals so important to you?
KKJ: Being a voice for animals is something that has been so close to my heart since I was a little girl which was when I became a vegetarian. Animals have given so much to me throughout my life and I’ve learned so much from them. I believe they have a role on this planet and I think it’s important that we as humans fight for their wellbeing and dignity. That effort is an extension of love to the planet and all that the planet has given us day after day.

KKJ: It would be raining- I love the rain! I’d make the world’s best pancakes for me and my boyfriend Will. I’d go see my horse Dieter in Topanga canyon and take him on a ride along the beach. Then I would meet up with friends at Moonlight roller park and they would play amazing music all night.
