Berlin photographer Lisa Wassmann captures emerging actress and musician Agnes Lindström in a dream-like feature. Taking us to some of her favourite places in the city, Lisa delivers a new view on the creative capital while Agnes demonstrates the versatility of our new season denim.

This story was shot in West Berlin,

“The metro station is my favourite location, as a teenager I would take it to school or to parties at the weekend. I also chose the Funkturm area next to it for the shoot. The Zoologischer Garten is one of the rare places in Berlin that hasn’t changed over the years, it still looks the same as when I was a kid, especially the Aquarium.” says Wassmann

Paris Social Diary: When did you start acting and how did you get into it?
Agnes Lindstrom: When I started acting it was a kind of self-made therapy, I was trying to push myself out of my comfort zone. I was very shy as a kid and had never done any acting before (except playing a vulture in “The Jungle Book” in preschool) when I applied to drama school.

I prepared myself with exercises I found on the Internet. I was ambitious but felt a little bit ashamed of myself since I had no idea what I was doing! But in the end, I got in.

Paris Social Diary: How long have you lived in Berlin and what attracted you to the city?
Agnes Lindstrom:
I moved to Berlin in 2008 just after finishing theatre school. It was after a trip to Berlin with my girlfriends for the World Cup that I fell in love with the city and decided to move here as soon as I could.

It was one of those extremely hot summers in Berlin, there were things happening everywhere and I got a feeling that I would be constantly surprised and entertained.

Paris Social Diary: Tell us a secret spot in Berlin?
Agnes Lindstrom: There are so many great secret spots in Berlin, but a lot of them are discovered by the mass very quickly. I really like Spreewald Park, it’s an abandoned amusement park with rundown rollercoasters and merry-go-rounds.

Paris Social Diary: Which was your favourite piece from this story and why?
Agnes Lindstrom:
My favourite piece is the pink sweater with Fur Free Fur on the arms and shoulders. It makes me feel like some cool, powerful Game of Thrones character… but fancier and less medieval.
