Contemporary art has always been part of Marni. For the Pre-fall 2017 Women’s collection and for the Men’s FW 2017-2018 collection Marni collaborates with the versatile Australian artist, Sally Smart, who explores using the technique of collage, creating stylized human figures, which take shape in strong and vibrant movements. The images becomes patterns on tops, dresses, t-shirts, bags, or embroideries on sweatshirts and white poplin shirts.
