The japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake announce the second collection inspired by Ikko Tanaka's work.

The second series of Ikko Tanaka Issey Miyake, a collection inspired by the work of Ikko Tanaka the renowned Japanese graphic designer. The japanese firm takes their designs and colors from the original illustration were faithfully reproduced, the idea was not to create a mere replica of the motifs but to show a new vision of the designer’s work once the garment was worn. Will be launched in the spring of 2017.

Two new series titled “BOKUGI” and “FACE” were chosen as motifs. This season natural materials such as linen were used and the palette of textiles to make the pleated was enriched. The materials have been carefully selected to reveal the power of attraction of Ikko Tanaka’s design.

The IKKO TANAKA ISSEY MIYAKE collection embodies the joy of creating through a select pieces like blouses, dresses, jumpsuit, coats and accessories like clutches and boots.  A collection that shows a new vision of the ideal design reflected on the creation of Issey Miyake and his team.
