The language of Versus – the archetypes and identity for a bold global generation. A black cashmere blend coat has the ease of an oversized work shirt, fastened with silver lions head buttons, as do black leather western jackets, an urban essential.

Sporty knits turn tomboy in a colourblock dress with a zip at the turtleneck, with tabs fastened over the hips to emphasise the dynamic silhouette.

A new lightening bolt graphic changes its shape in its repeat pattern, and looks sharp with a white-on-black V-neck knit, worn over a black-on-white shirt, matched with a pleat miniskirt.

Versus denim is a new unified language, especially with a fresh Versus safety pin detail identifying all denim pieces, like pale blue jackets and cropped wideleg jeans for girls, and distressed pale blue jumpsuits for guys.

Athleticism is everything, with jersey tracksuits that provocatively unzip down the arms and also the legs, the zippers running proudly alongside the repeated word VERSUS. Camisole tops and minidresses have raw edges for attitude, and are made playful with Versus patches, some attached with Velcro, others in signature metal mesh.

A long black shirt dress looks simple from the front, decorated with a metal mesh patch, yet its back is alluringly open, with a twisted racer back held with a Versus safety pin. Technical padded jackets create an imposing silhouette of attitude, either in pale beige or patterned with the lightening bolt print.

Metal mesh gets active with dresses in black technical sports fabric, with panels of metal mesh across the chest and at the hips.

Cocktail dresses have sleek shimmer, like a little black dress with sheer ruched metallic sleeves, or the skirt of a long-sleeve black cocktail dress that’s in metallic knife pleats.

“This is about the language of Versus, an identity that is so bold and proud. This is a complete wardrobe for a life lived the Versus way.” Donatella Versace
