Around the Gucci Pre Fall 2018 collection taken in Rome by the artist and photographer Peter Schlesinger, the book brings together photos of models, urban landscapes, night visions, architectural details and mysterious interiors in an unexpected dreamlike journey. .
These fascinating Roman places pay homage to the atmosphere of Dario Argento‘s films. Excerpts from the screenplay of Inferno, a film written and directed by the famous Italian filmmaker in 1980, often appear alongside the images.

These evocative places include the “Aula Magna” of the Ospedale Odontoiatrico George Eastman and the Coppedè district, where some scenes of the films Inferno and The Bird with Crystal Plumage (1970) were shot, while the Hotel Mediterraneo and Casina delle Civette enriches the background of these images.

Disturbia is distributed by the independent London publisher IDEA and limited to 1,000 copies in transparent plastic packaging.

Available at a price of € 55 ($ 65, £ 45, ¥ 8,500), the book will be released on May 3rd. Its launch will be celebrated at an event held from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Dover Street Market in New York at 160 Lexington Avenue, where Peter Schlesinger will be signing copies of the book.
