The KARL LAGERFELD Spring/Summer 2017 campaign is a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Karl’s photography studio in Paris.

Karl is a man of many talents; he’s a designer, a creative director, an artist and a visionary. This season, he embraces his passion for photography and extends it to his brand’s campaign, which he shot at his own studio. The iconic space becomes a lead character in the narrative, along with “models of the moment” Mica Arganaraz, Josephine Skriver, and Baptiste Giabiconi.

“This is where Karl makes his magic happen,” said Skriver while on set. “Karl has had his studio here since 2002, and he’s shot all his major campaigns here. I want to just live in this room!”

The cast was personally selected by Karl to appear in the campaign, and all are long-time friends of the brand. “It’s always good to work with Karl,” said Arganaraz, “he really knows what he wants and what he’s doing.”

The collection celebrates effortless Parisian glamour, translated with Karl’s own vision that’s modern, relevant and cool.
