Delvaux is Belgian, more than Belgian, one might say, for its foundation in 1829 precedes by a year that of the Nation. The Maison Delvaux therefore wanted to claim loud and clear its membership of Belgium by making radiate through it all the Belgian creation and its numerous talents.

Last night the friends of the house were invited to celebrate the Belgitude. On this occasion, the Miniatures Belgitude, a collection of seven mini bags, each with the emblematic code of a Belgian city, which illustrates both the fantasy and the sense of self-deprecation, the creativity and exceptional know-how of the House.

Established in Brussels in 1829, Delvaux is the oldest luxury leather goods house in the world. And since then, the house has never ceased to be both avant-garde and at the forefront of the highest manufacturing tradition, while illustrating the greatness and symbols of Belgium. Whether celebrating the 1958 Universal Exhibition with the creation of the iconic bag of the House of Brilliant, or designing a costume for the Manneken-Pis, Delvaux has repeatedly demonstrated his attachment to this legacy, Belgian humor.
