Gucci launches new digital initiative.

Gucci launches Gucci Places, a new project designed to explore the different Places that inspire the creativity of the House throughout the world. The users will have easy access to the contemporary aesthetics of Alessandro Michele since their smartphone. With the objective of encourage people to discover interesting and unexpected stories about these places.

Gucci Places will create a network of locations connected to Gucci that will create surprise, generate interest and generate creative reactions. The first Gucci Place unveiled will be the castle of Chatsworth in Derbyshire in England, where Gucci currently sponsors House Style, designed by curator Hamish Bowles, this castle also served as a backdrop to the countryside Gucci Cruise 2017 which featured the famous British actress Vanessa Redgrave. An exclusive selection of products inspired by those from the Gucci Mail collection was created as part as collaboration

Each Gucci Place will have its own badge inspired by the place in question, which will reflect Gucci’s eclectic aesthetics and incorporate motifs evocative of the place. The Gucci application will offer a completely new feature developed to customers in the history of each Gucci Place. The app will be configured to use the services of geolocation of the smartphone of the users, they will receive a notice inviting them to visit the place in question, the app will allow them to share their position and win the associated badge.
