Acne Studios is pleased to announce a collaboration with Paolo Roversi who has produced a series of portraits of women writers and artists in various disciplines around the Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
The photographic project will be the subject of a campaign in the streets of New York, Hong Kong as well as Paris and Milan.
“The collection is an invitation to openness, to look outward and the world. I was curious to see the look of Paolo on these women artists and creative, through this series of portraits, with the style and atmosphere that make his signature.
Watching him at work as an alchemist of image, in his Parisian studio, was an immense honor ” said Jonny Johansson, Director of Creation.
The personalities photographed are Fatima Al Qadiri, artist and musician born in Kuwait; Hayv Kahramant, artist of Iraqi origin living in Sweden; Sadaf H. Nava, a New York-born performer from Iran; Yasmina Benabdelkrim, a stylist between Paris and New York; Negar Azimi, a New York writer; And Golshifteh Farahani, an Iranian actress, musician and singer, living in France.
The Spring / Summer 2017 collection will be available from March 2017.
