Inspired by classic fabrics used in a unexpected yet sensual way, the Jil Sander Resort 2017 collection’s volumes were built to highlight the body shapes and underlining the effortless, easy yet modern look.
Silk metal, leather, canvas, Japanese cottons and new variations of silk and cottons were made specially for this collection in order to attain and preserve the exact richness of tint.
Exclusivity in a very discreet way, with a subtle contrast in proportions and a big research in volumes making are key. Hence the strong emphasis on sheerness, focusing on skin, contour and body to underline the sense of freedom.
